HAND SHEET MOLDS



C-100 8" X 8" SHEET MOLD
G-100 12" X 12" SHEET MOLD

The FORMAX 8" X 8" & 12" X 12" sheet molds ensure rapid, high quality formation of hand sheets. The unit is constructed of stainless steel for durable maintenance free operation. Individual forming wires are clamped by the deckle box allowing rapid exchange and easy handling of the wet sheet for couching, pressing and drying. The sheet mold is shipped complete with a stainless steel agitator 24" bronze drop leg, ready for bench or sink installation. A T-fitting at the bottom of the drop leg permits connection to a white water return system or vacuum pump. All stainless steel plumbing is available.

 



M-100 FORMAX STANDARD SHEET MOLD

This laboratory sheet mold is constructed to TAPPI specifications for use in making hand sheets by TAPPI Test Method T-205. The sheet mold deckle is constructed of stainless steel and produces a 6" round hand sheet. The mold base and drop leg is bronze and brass. The unit includes the agitator, forming wire assembly, drop leg, valve and sump.

Standard sheet mold accessories such as couch rolls, couch plates, drying rings, and drying plates are also available.
