In addition to 75o TAPPI Standard Gloss, these precision, digital, Gloss Testing Meters are available for 20o, 45o, 60o, 75o, and 85o measurement angles. Models are available which incorporate one, two, or three measurement angles in a single instrument that can be set up for TAPPI, ISO, ASTM, or JIS standard methods.

These compact "hand held" instruments are light, portable, and easy to use, but still offer all the accuracy and reliability of heavy "bench top" type instruments.

Novo-Gloss instruments are available either with, or without a complete statistical data package. The statistical package provides each test value, number of values stored, minimum / maximum readings, average, and standard deviation of each test series. Data can be downloaded through the standard RS-232 computer interface into the mill data acquisition system or direct to your PC using the included "NovoSoft" Windows software.

Each instrument comes with a cased, traceable standard and zero reference surface. Power is supplied by internal rechargeable batteries or by the AC power supply. Also included is an RS-232 computer connection cable and a rugged carry case.
